Wonderful apartment, exceptionally friendly and helpful owners made for an idyllic stay
Accommodation was of excellent quality and provided a high level of comfort in lovely rustic surroundings. All appliances worked very well, not least the instant hot water! which made for a very pleasant stay. The owner and her family were extremely helpful and really made us feel like we were their personal guests. I cannot thank them enough for their hospitality.

L'accueil de Laure et sa famille a été merveilleux ainsi que ses conseils pour visiter la région, le vin de la propriété est excellent et la maison que nous avons loué avec ma fille avait tout le confort nécessaire et une vue unique sur les vignes, à 360 degré. Nous avons été enchanté de ce séjour
La vue de la maison, le calme, la piscine très propre, le confort de la maison, l'accueil de la famille, le coté nature et sain
Pas de grilles anti-moustiques aux fenêtres La route d'accès type tout terrain mais on s'y habitue

Great time at Castellina ! Owners are really helpful and the location is amazing.
Great place in the vineyards near a really nice village. The accommodation is charming and perfect for a family with two kids. The swimming pool is a great added value. You are welcomed by a bottle of the wine made in the vineyards where you stay.
nothing to say, it's a perfect place for great holidays.

excellent accueil,calme, piscine très agréable
Accès TRES difficile. Route caillouteuse avec ornières. 4x4 plus que souhaitable
La semaine après le séjour de Madame Pennec le chemin d'accès (1km.) a été réparé: c'était le premier moment où les ouvriers étaient libres pour les travaux. Dans le Chianti, les proprietaies ne sont pas autorisés à paver les chemins dans la campagne.

Wonderful holiday!
Fantastic place to stay! It is calm - you are not disturbed either by neighbors or by traffic. There is a wonderful view of the nature directly from the house. The house is furnished with special sense for authenticity, you feel you are really in Tuscany. The hostess speaks fluent English and French and gives you good advice what to visit. You feel that you are not only a paying client, you are a guest.
The only negative aspect is the dirtroad you have to take to go down to the house. This is, however, unpleasant for the first time, you get accustomed to it and it does no harm to your car. So it is of minor importance.

schitterende locatie,"in the middle of nowhere" en anderzijds in hartje Toscane midden de kunststeden Sienna en Firense!
authentieke locatie in oude hoeve (15de eeuw!!) midden wijngaarden en toch voldoende comfort en zwembad.Leuk restaurant op wandelafstand en mooie dorpjes in de buurt.
De toegangsweg is een avontuur, maar na de eerste schrik (steil en losliggende stenen!) is het best mogelijk zonder brokken. Ik had geen problemen en geraakte altijd terug boven zonder stoppen of schade. Niet toegankelijk voor aanhangwagens of caravans of mobilhomes of laaghangende sportwagens.

accueil, cadre, piscine, localisation.
le chemin d'accès très en pente et en gravier, difficilement accessible pour les véhicules qui ne sont pas 4x4.

Magical, relaxing and with views that are out of this world
The location and the view were marvellous, beyond our expectations and well away from the crowds; a magical retreat with a very Tuscan feel. As a photographer and artist, I loved every aspect of the location. The owner and family were marvellous, very accommodating, warm and helpful; we were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. We would love to go back some time; we have marvellous memories of our stay.
The only small negative - if you are a hesitant driver - was the difficult and steep road (track) to drive down the hill to the accommodation which my husband mastered after a couple of goes but which I know I could not have managed if I had been travelling on my own and so it is not ideal for a less confident driver. Just something to bear in mind.

fantastic location.early every morning my son and i enjoyed a walk in olive tree grove, vineyard, forest. found lots of animal paw prints, porcupine quills...
5km drive to village, so no after supper walk for gelatos!

Owners were great - if we would have been there in Summer or Fall, they would have been on-site all the time.
Wonderful little kitchen with views of the vineyards, comfortable beds, nice fireplace.
Only negative was the long drive down the winding, steep road, but well worth it.

Fantastic! The setting was just beautiful, as was the view from our apartment. The owners were very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed getting to know them. It was a beautiful time of year to be there, but we should have been there about two weeks sooner, so we could have seen them harvesting the grapes from there vineyards. I would go back again without hesitation. The sunsets were beautiful. We were able to buy some of their wine and olive oil. It was close to a lot of the small towns that we wanted to visit, Greve, Radda, Siena, Florence, Castellina in Chianti, Badia a Coltibuono, San Gimignano, Volterra & Montalcino. Such a georgeous area.
The setting, right in the middle of the vineyards. The super nice owners. There was a very nice pool.
It is approximately one mile from the main road. It is a dirt road and winding. At first I was not to sure, but after a few trips it was a piece of cake.

Joli gîte dans le style toscan au milieu d'un excellent chianti
Qualité du logis dans le style toscan Belle piscine Hospitalité Endroit à l'abri de la civilisation et des voitures LA propriétaire parle le français, très érudite
Des voisins dans le gîte en dessous très bruyants : la terrasse extérieure des voisins en dessous est située sous la chambre....

Les proprietaires nous ont recu de facon magnifique .
La toscane est superbe ,il n'y pas assez de 15 jours pour tout visiter il faut y revenir plusieurs fois
je n'en ai pas trouvé.
