Owners were very friendly. They organised a beautifull cot for our baby,she slept in it like a baby. The 5 Euro wine was very tasty, nno need to buy in supermarket. We were there at the end of may, very quiet, the only ones at Cinigiano 461. The butcher in town has great salami and cheese! Do not forget to bring some home.

areal fist time introduction to tuscany and the unspoilt countryside the village gave us taste of tuscan life as D H Lawrence portrayed it and not over overwhelmed by tourists the wine was excellent .
the house was well desingedand very comfortable and the outside patio was excellentfor breakfasts
we struggled alittle in communicating as our italian is not good we phoned the owners son when we needed help very useful;

Lived up to very high expectations.
Booking through Agriturismo was very quick and easy. This place promptly forwarded information on directions, local ammenties, and things to do which were very useful. It's an easy walk into the town of Cinigiano, a little up hill but about 15 - 20 minutes at a slow pace. A straightforward 1.5 hour road trip north of Rome we even managed to find our way in the dark. Paolo had a wonderful fire going to welcome us - combined with some fabulous local wine available for sale in the apartment (at very reasonable prices) we settled in very quickly. Nonno Meo was perfect for our family of 5, including two very big teenage boys. All the beds were very comfortable and had plenty of warm bedding for people use to a tropical climate. We slept so well. The well equipped kitchen encouraged us to cook 2 of our 4 nights there - using delicious local produce. Two bathrooms made it much easier also with 5 people. Paolo also recommended the local restaurant "Rintocco" which was absolutely fantastic - we ate there our other 2 nights. The location was very quiet, we were the only people there at this time (mid december 2009)but the layout of the property would help maintain privacy even in busy times. Cinigiano is a wonderful town which we hope to get to know better one day soon. The 3 local alimentari are great for stocking up on wonderful meats, chesses, fruit, bread, eggs, jam, and anything else you need for your stay. Thank you Paola & Angela - we can't wait to come back!
Internet access is only avioable at the office. For some this may be a good thing though!

What a lovely place! The owners were so generous, friendly,professional, and very accommodating. We travelled by train and walking for six weeks in three countries, two weeks in Italy, cities and countryside. They were all wonderful, but Angela and Paulo's place was extra special. We stayed longer than originally planned.
We stayed in the villa called Nonna's. It was even prettier than the pictures, as were all the houses.And well furnished and private. The countryside is gorgeous, romantic, and very walkable.Paulo and Angela, the owners, are such nice people that they even though it was the last minute and they were booked the next day, they found us another sweet place when we decided to stay another day. Ask Paulo to show you to the little restaurant in Cinigiano. Fab food and vino! One little caution, no one speaks English, but they will figure out what you need. This is the real Italy!
Watch out for your directions! GPS does not cover the many little country roads. Drive in the daytime!

équipement au niveau vaisselle insuffisant,pour ceux qui dorment sur le canapé pas de stores et soleil levant dans le salon

Cinigiano 461 ... in moto
A mio avviso è un posto nel quale mi sono trovato molto bene, buona l'accoglienza, ottima la struttura, la quale rispecchia in pieno la ruralità delle dimore di una volta!! consigliato a tutti i quali vogliono staccare la spina e trovarsi fuori dal mondo.
a riguardo della struttura ricettiva non ce ne sono di aspetti negativi. L'unico problema che nei giorni festivi occorre spostarsi per comprare qualcosa da mangiare, ma essendo andato in moto è stato un vero piacere.

die Ruhe selbst für alle die sich entspannen wollen genau das Richtige!
ein sehr schön eingerichtetes typisch mediterranes Ferienhaus mit Flair inmitten eines Olivenheines, die Eigentümer sehr freundlich , und nur selten anzutreffen..Natur pur, ideal für Ruhebedürftige.
Lange anstrengende Autofahrten mit unendlichen Kurven bis man eine Stadt erreicht, 2 Pizzerias in der Nähe mit kleinen Kindern kaum Abwechslung in der Freizeitgestaltung, Dorfidylle... ohne Radio und deutschen/engl. TV

Adequate for the one night stopover
Lovely little town nearby
Disappointed after some of the other places we had stayed but was adequate for our one night stay. No food available but little town nearby so able to source limited food.

Una settimana indimenticabile
Tranquillo, confortevole, silenzioso... L'ideale per una settimana romantica all'inizio della primavera (era il mese di marzo), ma anche per un soggiorno più lungo in un periodo più 'turistico'.
L'unico aspetto negativo, se così si può dire, è che nel paese di Cinigiano ci fosse solo un ristorante attivo, e che il lunedì è stato praticamente impossibile trovare da mangiare senza doversi spostare altrove. Per il resto, solo aspetti positivi.

We really enjoyed our holiday at this place. It was an area of Tuscany we hadn't visited before and we loved the area and the location of the agriturismo. The pool was great, and house was clean and well stocked with useful equipment, and we loved the big picture window and balcony in our property. The owners were very friendly, and helpful as much as they could be. However, as their English was about as good as my Italian (rudimentary!) information exchange was brief.
Lovely location, interesting places to visit nearby, quiet site amongst other agriturismos with some degree of privacy. Helpful owners.
