“Een fijne, rustgevende plek, zeer goede uitvalsbasis voor uitjes, maar nog betere plek om weer naar terug te keren, en na te genieten op het prachtige en goed verzorgde terrein... Gastheer Tomasso is buitengewoon behulpzaam en gastvrij. Aanrader voor”

Heel fijne rustige groene plek met prachtig uitzicht. Heerlijk buiten zitten en ruimte voor kinderen om te spelen. Zeer vriendelijke hulpvaardige gastheer. Goed bereikbaar met Openbaar Vervoer. Fietsen aanwezig.

De wifi was nogal langzaam, films streamen zal op de wifi niet lukken, denk ik.

We loved everything especiallly the charming owners and the authentic atmosphere. The location is very close to Arezzo and ideal to disciver Tuscany.

Le cadre , la gentillesse des propriétaires , à égal distance de Siene et Florence Bon compromis. Le village D’Arezzo fut une belle surprise.

Wifi tres mauvaise réception La tondeuse sur le temps du déjeuner ...aurait pu être évité

Pour aller à Florence nous avons pris le train au lieu d’y aller en voiture bon calcul en temps, en fatigue Train pris en gare d’Arezzo qui nous dépose en centre ville de Florence . 8 euro le trajet pour un adulte moitié pour les enfants de moins de 13 ans.

Agradable recibimiento de los propietarios. Tomasso siempre dispuesto a aconsejar sobre lugares interesantes para visitar. Finca muy bien cuidada. Un lugar realmente maravilloso para pasar unos días de relax en plena campiña Toscana.

Aunque las casas donde estuvimos alojados ( Casa Piccola y Casa Verde) están en excelentes condiciones, cabe destacar que hubiéramos agradecido tener microondas, (en una de las casas no había cafetera ni sartenes) y el plato de ducha de la Casa Verde es excesivamente pequeño,incluso para una persona de estatura y complexión media.

Si queréis visitar pueblos con encanto, no dudéis en preguntarle a Tomasso, os dirá sitios dignos de conocer.

“Charmante et confortable propriété dans la campagne Toscane”

Accueil charmant par les propriétaires, logeant à proximité dans leur villa classée monument historique. La Casa Rossa est un pavillon spacieux, indépendant, très propre, avec une terrasse très agréable,une cuisine bien équipée. Accès à une petite piscine idéale pour nos enfants de 6 et 8 ans entourée de vignes. Possibilité de barbeccue. Arezzo avec son très joli centre historique est rapidement accessible en voiture ou en bus (3 km), et de là on peut prendre le train (1 H à 1H 30 de trajet) pour visiter Florence. Merveilleux séjour pour nous. En souvenir, l'huile d'olive et le chianti des propriétaires pour patienter avant de repartir...

Profitez-en si vous aimez la campagne, les soleils couchants sur les vignes et les oliviers, les petits déjeuners sur terrasse au chant des oiseaux ....

Logement spacieux TRES propre, très bien meublé, environnement typique de Toscane avec beaux paysages. Propriétaire toujours aux petits soins mais avec discrétion. Très bons conseils. Piscine bien agréable quand il fait très chaud.

Point de départ idéal pour découvrir une toscane tranquille et magnifique, Arezzo et ses habitants sont accueillants, Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Pérouse et d'autres sites célèbres de Toscane proches, nombreux beaux villages, le casentino est à découvrir, étrusqueries à proximité et Vasari et Piero Della Francesca et.... Bref vous ne pourrez pas tout voir....

Wonderful hosts, dreamlike surroundings, typical Toscana.

Slow or unavailable internet, no air conditionning but nights were not so hot and they had fans.

I would totally recommand you spend at least one week there so that you an visit the numerous small villages and towns but also spend some time at the place to relax, cook, and walk through the vineyard.

Des hôtes charmants , attentionnés mais discrets : une vraie rencontre qui nous a marqué. Un lieu magnifique. L'espace remarquable et le charme du logement cassa rossa et de sa terrasse ombragée. La piscine bien entretenue, le jacuzzi, le bon vin de la propriété offert en guise d'accueil...

Parfois des chiens au loin qui aboient la nuit, mais les propriétaires du gîte n'y peuvent rien... PAs de lave vaisselle, une bonne raison pour gouter aux excellents restos d'arezzo et aux pizzas de l'Ourso bruno !

Demandez à Tomasso de pouvoir visiter la cave de la coopérative viticole et...achetez lui ses divers Chianti, un délice ! Goutez à la dolce Vita dans cette magnifique propriété classée monument historique, sans chichi et authentique. Découvrez la région, belle et accueillante, bien des villages mérite des visites, Arezzo aussi, Poppi et son chateau, le monastere de Laverna dans les montagnes...

La propriété est superbe au calme et les appartements sont assez espacés entre eux. Casa Rossa était parfaite la terrasse couverte privé était un vrai bonheur. Les propriétaires sont plus que charmant.Just perfect!!!

La connexion internet n'est pas terrible.

C'est endroit idéal pour partir en famille à quelques minutes de magnifiques sites touristiques tel que Arezzo, Florence et Sienne. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir!

Tommaso and his family are very gracious hosts. We very much enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the environment and the helpfulness of the staff in assisting us.

We would have loved a mattress that was more comfortable and a mirror in the second bedroom.

The farm is very close to the town of Arezzo. You should really visit the Grand Piazza where you can find good restaurants with excellent wine lists as well as see much of the history of the area.

Wonderful hosts - thank you for being so accommodating and charming all the time and for helping whenever we requested. We loved your oil (1L in 2 weeks!) and wine. Everyone very friendly.

We all (6) struggled with bites. Lots of people at the airport on the return journey had horrendous bites and it seems late Aug was not a good time to hang out in Tuscany. Secondly the bed in casa verde was very uncomfortable (mattress way too soft for anyone I reckon) In contrast casa rossa extrememly comfy. Thirdly the jacuzzi was cold and scummy and not inviting (except for teenagers who generally don't care about a bit of scum!) The bikes need attention! Internet connection hit and miss.

Talk to locals. Smile. Use the shop at Orso Bruno and enjoy their food.

les proprietaries sont vraiment adorables et particulièrement accueillants. L'endroit est très beau, calme tout en étant assez proche d'Arezzo (10mn) et des grands axes pour visiter d'autres villes.

La connection internet est très faible et a été inexistante en fin de séjour. La piscine est tout à fait correcte mais relativement petite et peu profonde; c'est advantage un grand bassin.

Très belle demeure et beau mobilier toscan (plus beau que sur les photos du site). Charme des vignes. Proximité d'Arezzo (accessible en bus) et du village de Ceciliano (pratique pour le pain). Tranquillité.Piscine (elle est petite mais c'est bien suffisant) et barbecue. Achat de vin et d'huile d'olive à l'azendia. Les villes intéressantes ne sont pas si loin que cela. On y est vite,même à Siena et à Firenze. Sans oublier les petits villages médiévaux à proximité. Les hôtes sont accueillants, disponibles mais discrets et soucieux qu'il ne manque rien.

Il faut s'habituer à ce que les 2 ouvriers du domaine travaillent, nettoient les tracteurs, pulvérisent les vignes, ... pendant que l'on se repose. C'est une nécessité et ça n'arrive pas tous les jours.

L'Orso Bruno est à 5 minutes à pied. C'est un bar pour le petit-déjeuner + une boulangerie et épicerie ainsi qu'une bonne pizzeria. On y rencontre les locaux.

The accommodation is really characterful and the balcony we had was great for outdoor eating. We used the table tennis and swimming pool but of course spent a lot of time exploring. Tommaso and his family were really kind and helpful - we didn't have any problems but had no doubt they would have done their best if we had - and we really enjoyed seeing more of the house and vineyards and their history.

None really - the internet connection strength was variable but if that's the only negative I can come up with, that says it all really.

We were upgraded to the 'Grande' apartment so had an unexpected amount of space. the apartment was very clean despite it's age (400 years). We enjoyed the pool (which isn't mentioned much in the description) and the table-tennis table. There is also a fitness room with a small amount of equipment. What stands out most about this property is Tomasso and his lovely family. they made us feel very welcome but not overlooked and helped us with any question we had. The property is a short drive from the town of Arezzo which is well worth visiting and there is a very good local restaurant (L'orso Bruno) within a 15 minute walk.

The only downside for us was the lack of air conditioning. We only stayed 5 nights and the weather was cool for the time of year but we still struggled a bit at night. Also no fault of the property but the mosquitoes ate me alive!!

There are a couple of bikes to borrow but unfortunately no children's bikes. Don't forget to buy a bottle of Arezzo 1515 very reasonably priced wine. We took a bottle back with us to remind us of our stay!

Villa située à l'écart du trafic routier donc propice au repos et à la détente mais néanmoins peu éloignée des attractions culturelles (Nous vous recommandons de rejoindre Florence en train au départ d'Arezzo tant pour la rapidité que pour le tarif attractif). La ville d'Arezzo est assez proche afin de trouver toutes les commodités indispensables au bon déroulement du séjour.

Aucune critique à apporter.

Notre lieu de séjour a été un réel bonheur tant par l'accueil très chaleureux des charmants propriétaires que par son cadre romantique dans un écrin de verdure au milieu des vignes. Un excellent vin Chianti y est produit, un vrai régal de saveurs et de parfums. Encore merci pour toutes les petites attentions qui nous sont offertes dès notre arrivée. La ville d'Arezzo que vous pourrez visiter en journée comme en soirée est superbe. A recommander sans aucune hésitation.

*les propriétaires ne vivent pas sur place, il n'y avait pas d'autres vacanciers, nous étions seuls dans le domaine à partir de 20h et durant toute la nuit.

Tomasso est un hote adorable et de bons conseils. On peut assez facilement rayonner vers Firenze/Siena/Pisa si on le désire, mais le domaine invite surtout au repos et à la détente! Idéal pour un séjour romantique ou pour amoureux de la nature. Ne ratez pas l'épicerie Orso Bruno à Patrignone, épicerie ou charcuterie, pizzas maison et glaces maison sont délicieuses! A Arezzo, ne manquez pas la Trattoria Manzoni, qui est un pur bonheur gastronomique authentique pour un prix plus que raisonnable!

Nous avons apprécié le plein pied de notre logement et l'indépendance par rapport aux repas. Le logement est tres bien équipé L'accueil cordial de la famille et leur disponibilité est un des points fort très appréciés. Merci pour tous ces bons échanges. Nous vous attendons à Solbach!

Il faudrait privilégier la découverte de la région autour d'Arezzo, car les villes "classiques" de Toscane sont un peu plus loin.

Arezzo vaut la peine d'une visite. Surtout s'il fait très chaud, cherchez un peu de fraîcheur dans le parc derrière la cathédrale San Donato, dans la vielle ville, d'où vous avez une vue superbe sur la ville et les environs. D'ailleurs, la via de Arezzo 1515 n'est pas loin de ce parc.

Apartment was solid but Tommaso and his family were excellent! Other guests were serious and polite! It was very nice to be in the apartment in the peaceful, hilly vineyard just 3 km from the city of Arezzo. We saw many enchanted, historic towns like Bibiena, Poppi, Cortona, Lucignano, Sansepolcro, Anghiari, Caprese Michelangelo...

Arezzo is wonderful city, but not in the evening! The night life was really poor, the price of the beer served on the table was too high (in Croatia is three times cheaper!), the price of the gasoline is a little too high, the highways and the roads are not always on the serious level.

I believe that some pieces of the furniture in the apartment have to be more antique, but TV set has to be more modern. Everybody likes to combine the best from the history with the best from our time.

Pool, jacuzzi and table tennis great. Views, private verandah and wine all lovely. Village shop, pizzeria and bus stop for Arezzo all easy walking distance so we didn't need to hire a car but still able to be remote and relaxed.

Only the heat and mosquitoes so come prepared!

Would recommend this type of accommodation if you appreciate original features and rustic charm - which added to our experience. The owners couldn't be more helpful, and Arezzo is beautiful and big enough to enjoy whilst being slightly off the bustling tourist route for those who don't want crowds. We travelled by train and local transport which worked out really well.

Logement spacieux meublé avec caractère. Belle propriété bien équipée. La famille assure un accueil chaleureux et répond aux demandes des voyageurs.

La piscine est un peu petite (mais très bien entretenue) et ouvre de 10h à 19h30.

Globalement, ce gite dispose d'un excellent rapport qualité/prix. Parfait pour une famille ou un couple disposant d'une voiture.

the matresse in parents bedroom seemed to cave in the middle and a few mosquitos-but its nature

Due to bad weather we received free wood for the hearth, every day. They even cleaned the hearth when we were not around! The owners are very helpfull and we had many good talk about wine etc.We received also a grand tour of the Palazzo in Arezzo along an apperative with the owners!

Grander du logement, propreté, localisation proche du centre ville et des sites touristiques principaux, propriétaires hyper serviables et tout le temps à notre écoute et à notre service. pas de ménage à faire en partant c'est très agréable.

Il a fait très chaud et une climatisation aurait été un plus durant la nuit. Pas de moustiquaire.

Ne pas hésiter à faire ces petites courses à l'alimentation Orso Bruno. Des gens très sympathiques et en plus on y mange très bien et avec un petit prix.

-nice large apartment -very friendly and helpfull owners -you feel yourself at home, just go to the COOP (large store 10 min drive) to fill the fridge and relax.

-We missed AIRCO or windpropellors in the room. -We missed a kitchenhood. The whole house smells the things you cooked -

Do not forget Tommasso to ask for his wine and excellent olive oil. Also visit Arezzo,Siena, Montepulciano,Cortona and Bibbiena. Do not take to many clothes when it is warm :-)

Cette propriété est idéalement située , les propriétaires sont extremenent accueillants , les deux logements que nous avons loués étaient charmants , déco soignée , bien entrentenus . Nous avons bien profité de la piscine , du jaccuzzi , du ping pong .

pas de points négatifs . Attention aux moustiques si vous séjournez en été !!

Une excellente adresse , à mi chemin de Florence et Sienne , beaucoup de visites à faire dans les environs , la ville d' arrezzo toute proche est très agréable . Toute la famille a adoré ce séjour ( 2 adultes , 3 ados , 1 enfant ) .Nous serions tous ravis d y séjournner à nouveau.

Very welcoming and charming owners. The whole property is impressive and nicely surrounded by vineyards. Our appartment (Casa Grande - Casa Rossa) was larger than expected and luckily, it kept cool during the day. We enjoyed very much our large private terrasse with roof-top. It was very adequate to our young-aged children.

Located a bit too close to the main road. The owners managed adequately to hide the negative parts of the view but, on some evenings (depending on the wind orientation) the noise of the road was slightly annoying.

We very much appreciated the small villages in the surroundings (Montarchi, Anghiari,...) that seem more authentic and less "touristically-oriented" than some other more frequented parts of Tuscany.

Vraiment génial. Tomaso et toute sa famille sont là pour vous, toujours prêts à vous renseigner, aider ...

rien de négatif.

Situation centrale donc beaucoup à voir, à visiter mais Anghiari, Cortona et Montepulciano ne sont à manquer ... ainsi que le vin de l'exploitation, surtout la "réserve" !

Die Familie war ausgesprochen freundlich und hat uns bei diversen Fragen (z.B Restaurants in der Umgebung...) super Tips gegeben. Die Freundlichkeit war sehr wohltuend. Man findet das heute nicht sehr oft.

Casa Rossa was delightful.The owners were so warm and friendly and our visit to their historic home and chapel were very special. They were very helpful without being obtrusive and we were very sad to leave the farm and the family. We hope to return one day in the future.

We tried to visit some lesser known tourist places and one of these was the ancient medieval town of Algiare. We also enjoyed visiting Arezzo, Cortona, Lake Trassemino and San Gimignano. The Coop at Arezzo was perfect for major grocery shopping but the small supermarket and wine bar a few minutes away was also very useful.

Tomasso and his family were incredibly warm, accommodating and helpful. The property was gorgeous and Tomasso took us on tour of his vineyard and spent two hours talking with us about the wine and food of Tuscany. It was a fantastic experience.

Excellent accueil des propriétaires très prévenants mais néanmoins discrets.Gïte très bien situé dans un beau domaine.Proximité d'Arezzo, des commerces (grand supermarché)Piscine et jacuzzi, logement conforme à la description,linge de toilette et draps fournis, ménage en milieu et fin de séjour très appréciable!Jolie déco, typiquement Toscane.

Coin cuisine un peu petit et batterie de cuisine un peu réduite.

N'oubliez pas de vous munir d'un produit efficace contre les moustiques! Un problème qui n'est cependant pas spécifique à Arezzo mais plutôt à la Toscane en général.

Skønt sted, meget imødekommende ejere (der boede på stedet), gode omgivelser (tæt på by, men alligevel oplevelsen af at være rigtigt på landet i smukke Toscana). Dejlig lille pool og udendørs spa lige op ad vinmarkerne.

Stedet ligger tæt på bjergene, så der er mange gode muligheder for ture til andre mindre ældre byer. Ejerne anbefaler også gerne gode restauranter i lokalområdet.

Très bien reçu, nous avions l'impression d'être dans la famille. La propreté est irréprochable à tous les niveaux(appartement, piscine, jacuzzi....). Le cadre est magnifique, nous pouvons nous promener partout; de plus la ville d'Arezzo nous a beaucoup plu, c'était très agréable. Un séjour très "ressoursant".Dès que nous le pourrons, nous y retournerons.

Une journée très reposante à Bagno Vignoni dans des bains chauds (piscines rattachées à un hôtel où l'on peut rentrer sans faire parti de l'hôtel). Plein de belles choses à voir aux alentours mais impossible de toutes les raconter.

The owners were very accommodating and made sure we were always comfortable and had everything we wanted. Our Italian is pretty much non-existent but that wasn't an issue as their English is fluent. The apartment was beautifully appointed and had everything that we needed. Wine is produced on the farm and is good value and very tasty. Very relaxing and highly recommended.

La maison est très bien située près d'Arezzo. Le logement est spacieux, les abords sont très agréables quand on a des enfants. Les propriétaires sont soucieux de leurs hôtes.

Nous sommes venus à Arezzo 1515 avec une enfant de quatre ans, nous avons pu alterner les visites et les moments de détente dans la piscine. Nous avons pu aller à Assise, nous avons découvert le Casentino et les principales villes de Toscane (Florence, Pise, Sienne, Arezzo...). N'hésitez pas à demander conseil aux propriétaires.

The entire family was very friendly and extremely helpful from beginning to end. Since we did not rent a car, Signor Enrico and Signora Rosalba met us at the train station in Arezzo and made us feel welcome from the start, giving valuable advice on such topics as shopping locations, nearby restaurants, bus stops we should be aware of and so forth. Signora Rosalba and Signor Tomasso in particular made sure we felt welcome, answered all our concerns and did much more than what was expected. At the end, we felt more like family/friends rather than guests. I look forward to spending time again at their estate and hope to do so within the next year or two. Also, I took a baking lesson with Signora Rossana, arranged with the help of Signor Tomasso. Not only was the time spent informative, it was also fun, humorous and proved to be another highlight of our stay there.

Take advantage of cooking lessons offered as well as wine tastings.

This is a lovely, quiet and relatively small family-run guest house/apartments. The owners are especially helpful. We especially appreciated their suggestions of concerts in the area, routes for bicycling (and assistance adjusting the brakes on one of their bicycles, etc.), and local shopping, all of which were excellent. The accomodations were very comfortable and the family also is ready to share information about their historic home and family history in Arezzo. A special place, and special people who made this a truly memorable vacation.

The owners were exceptionally kind and invited us to visit the main house. They mentioned how part of the house was destroyed by the Germans and then rebuilt and we were able to sit around and visit for some time with them. What an amazing family!

Spend more time enjoying the Farm house. Our plans were filled with other adventures that we missed our opportunity to really enjoy the local area. We are planning another trip back and are hoping to plan our stay at the Farm house. There were seven of us in our party and all of us enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend it!!

Bonito apartamento en casa situada en amplia y cuidada finca agrícola. Sitio muy tranquilo. Dispone de pequeña piscina. A unos 15 minutos en coche del centro de Arezzo, ciudad cuya visita recomiendo.Muy amable el trato con el propietario.

No dispone de internet y la TV es muy pequña con mala recepción de la señal y escasos canales.

Simple but beautiful accommodation, close to great hiking and key Chianti sites, welcoming and friendly hosts, very good for young children.

The hot tub could have been hotter. It was too cool to use the pool in May.

Head into the hills and discover the excellent hiking trails nearby. Use the bikes provided at the Agro to travel on the backroads. Walk the vineyards and hear how the owners till and care for the land. Enjoy cooking in your little abode using all the local fresh food! Stoke a fire and sip on their wine.
